The Greene County Rams football team will host the Roland-Story Norsemen Friday in the opening round of Class 2A playoff football.
The Rams are 7-1 on the season and Class 2A District 8 champions, having won every game except the season opener against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center. They finished the regular season 5-0 in their district, outscoring district opponents 254 to 9. A portion of every district game was played with a continuous clock after the Rams claimed a 35-point lead.
The Norsemen finished the regular season with a 3-5 record and 2-3 record in Class 2A District 7. In district play, they scored 146 points and allowed their opponents 178 points.
The winner will play Oct. 29.
