To the editor:
I’m writing to encourage voters to say yes to the upcoming referendum on Nov. 2 regarding gaming in Greene County.
Thanks in large part to Grow Greene County, our students and community are able to enjoy a fantastic new performance space with our auditorium. Students are able to not only perform in this facility, but some are also taking a class teaching them about stage rigging, lights and sound with state of the art equipment.
We will also be able to host events such as state jazz band and choir festivals, and bring in other performing acts that will come up in the next several months. I look forward to seeing what the future holds with this continued support.
