Members of Abundant Life Ministries invite area residents to bring their families to come and see World Missions Day Saturday, Sept. 18, from 10 am to noon at Abundant Life Ministries, 1308 W. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson.
World Missions Day will feature tables with photos, current reports from missionaries, activities for kids, music and food from all the nations. Guests can stop by each table and receive a punch on their passport and hear about current happenings in the nation from a mission team correspondent.
Abundant Life Ministries supports nine missionaries around the world including the countries of India, South Africa, Honduras, Italy, Great Britain, Cuba, Canada, Nigeria, Liberia and Thailand. The church also supports Hope House, an orphanage in Honduras, and a feeding center for children in Limpopo, South Africa.
In addition to visiting the tables, there will be short 15-minute talks in the sanctuary from missionaries and church youth and adults who have gone on mission trips around the world. They will share first hand testimonies from their experiences on the mission field.
World Missions Day is free to attend and open to people of all ages.
