The Scranton Varceis Club’s annual fall luncheon is back, but with some changes.
The fall of 2020 saw the annual luncheon canceled, as were so many other events at that time due to the pandemic. This year looked promising, but organizers have opted for safe over sorry.
Therefore, the Varceis Club is offering the first ever grab-n-go ham ball luncheon. The menu includes a generous ham ball, cheesy potatoes, pasta salad, dinner roll, beverage and a treat. The price is $8 and will be collected when dinners are picked up.
The date is the traditional Thursday after Labor Day – Sept. 9. Serving will run from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Drive by the north door of the United Methodist Church in Scranton for pick-up of your meal.
Please reserve your meal(s) by calling Susanne at 712-652-3666 or Cheryl at 712-652-3924. Both numbers have answering machines if you need to leave a message. Please leave your name and number of dinners requested. Reservations must be made by Saturday evening, Sept. 4.
