Churdan library to host program on colors and their history

The history of color is the topic of an illustrated lecture at the Churdan library Sunday, July 25, at 2 pm.

Laura Keyes will share the stories of the tints, dyes and shades of color and the specific points in history to which they can be traced. The title of her presentation is “Every Color Has a Story: History on the Palette”.

Keyes holds a master’s degree in library science from University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a library director in central Illinois. She has been on the lecture circuit presenting historic topic for more than 10 years.
