A total of 14 Ram athletes competed in 12 events in the Coed State Track and Field Meet at Drake Stadium May 20-22. Among Iowa’s finest high school athletes, two Ram track events placed fourth in Class 2A competition.
Jackson Morton placed fourth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.18 seconds. The winning time in 2A was 14.49 set by Jack Latham of Spirit Lake. The boys shuttle hurdle relay team of Nathan Black, Jaxon Warnke, Bryce Stalder and Morton placed sixth in the preliminaries in 1:02.83, fast enough to qualify for the finals. The team was fourth in the finals with a time of 1:01.65. The winning time was 1:01.15 set by Treynor.
