The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union and Iowa High School Athletic Association have announced track & field State qualifying assignments. Greene County will go to Manson for Class 2A competition on Thursday, May 13.
In class 2A, first and second in each event automatically qualifies for the May 20-22 Coed State Meet at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. The field of 24 is filled out by the eight best performances statewide that were not first or second at a qualifying meet.
The Rams will be joined in Manson by host Manson-Northwest Webster, Eagle Grove, East Sac County, Emmetsburg, Estherville-Lincoln Central, OABCIG (Ida Grove), Pocahontas Area, Ridge View (Holstein), Sioux Central, Sioux Rapids, South Central Calhoun (Lake City), and Southeast Valley (Gowrie).
