The Jefferson public library will re-open to the public Wednesday, March 32. Masks or face coverings will be required.
Temporary hours will be Monday and Wednesday from 1 to 6 pm, Friday from 1 to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. The library will be closed Tuesday and Thursday.
Library staff is looking forward to seeing patrons in person at the library. “While we have been happy to provide curbside pickup service these past few months, we know many of you are eager to come inside and look at all the new books and movies and other items, and be able to choose the ones that sound good to you,” library director Jane Millard said.
The children’s side will be open by appointment only. Parents or guardians can call 515386-4415 to set up a time to bring their children. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Library staff will continue to offer curbside service until further notice.
