Dr Martin will be on site the first Tuesday of each month to perform colonoscopies and endoscopies. He previously offered services in Jefferson from 2016-2020.

“Having a specialist such as a gastroenterologist come to Greene County Medical Center is a huge benefit to our community. I’m excited about him returning to our hospital.”

Along with performing scopes that make up 70 percent of the procedures and surgeries that take place at Greene County Medical Center, Martin will consult with local providers regarding patient care for gastrointestinal diseases.

Martin was born and raised in Huxley. He received his bachelor of arts from Luther College and obtained his medical degree from Des Moines University in 1999. He has been practicing in central Iowa since 2006.
