A representative of Iowa Central Community College will be at the Greene County Career Academy on Monday, March 22, from 4 to 7 pm to answer questions about the Greene County Career Academy and Iowa Central Community College. This is for all high school students in grades 9-12. Students can come anytime between 4 and 7 pm, and their parents are invited to attend, too. Food will be provided.
The Iowa Central representative will help students enroll for classes, talk to them about what classes they should take to prepare for college, discuss the offerings in the Greene County career academy, visit with students one-on-one about financial aid, and discuss scholarship possibilities.
Assistance for seniors will be provided to help them with FAFSA filing or if they have already filed, they should bring their FAFSA ID. Seniors who plan to file their FAFSA that night should talk with guidance counselor Ruth Broman about what documents they should bring.
Broman and Teresa Green will be there along with the Iowa Central representative. Students or parents who want more information can contact Broman at 515-386-4314 or Green at 515-386-2118.
