The library continues to be open by appointment, but don’t let that intimidate you! Just give us a call before you start out for the library. We want to make sure we have ample time to clean between patrons! We ask patrons to wear a face covering when coming to the library. We also wipe down all library materials when they are returned and put them in a “book quarantine” for a week before re-shelving.
We are also continuing our curbside pick-up option. If you know the book you would like to check out or if you would like us to pick you out something from a specific genre; just let us know and we would be more than happy to set your selections on one of the benches outside the library.
The library is starting our Library Activity Bingo this week. Stop in to pick up a bingo card which lists activities or craft kits from the library. Some activities include checking out books or movies, picking up craft kits, or even telling the librarian a valentine’s joke. A new craft kit will be available every Monday and Thursday starting Monday, February 8, and continuing through Monday, March 8. Bring your Bingo card with you when you visit the library to get it stamped for completing activities. We will be awarding prizes for each bingo while supplies last, through March 15. ~Wendy Johnson, director
