BOOST Bash slated for July 24

The BOOST Committee has scheduled the 4th annual BOOST Bash. This year’s event will be held July 24 at the Greene County Fairgrounds.

Details of this year’s event will be released at a later date.

BOOST, which stands for Bringing Optimism & Opportunity to Students & Teachers, brings the community together to celebrate the great things happening in the Greene County Community School District. In 2020, BOOST held an all-virtual event and, between nearly 100 auction items and numerous donations from individuals and businesses, net proceeds for the event were an incredible $50,359.43. Over three years, BOOST has raised more than $175,000, with all those funds going directly to impact teachers and students within the Greene County schools.

Through distributions that occurred before the school year, every teacher and student in the district was directly impacted.  A full breakdown of the allocations for all three years of BOOST are available at www.boostgreenecountyschools.com.

Additional information can be found at the BOOST website, and the committee posts regular updates to its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BOOSTGCIA) as the event gets closer.
