The Jefferson Elks Lodge on Jan. 6 presented a check for $2,750 to Elder Serve to provide meals and meal assistance to seniors.
The funds dome from a Beacon Grant provided by the Elks. The grant application was written by Joyce Fister.
“The Elks lodge is proud to provide assistance to our community whenever possible,” an Elks spokesperson said.
