Rippey Lions Club Zoom meeting – The Rippey Lions Club will meet via Zoom on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. Following a short business meeting, Roger Curtis, Northwest Lions Club district governor, will share comments on Lions Club in Iowa, including his duties.
Nancy Hanaman will email the Zoom contact information to members prior to the meeting day. For those who don’t connect with Zoom, a written account of the meeting will be provided.
Jean’s Jottings – I can’t let this week go by without wishing Connie Neese a happy birthday Jan. 6. In a normal world we would be celebrating at the Tuesday church coffee with cake and other goodies.
The personal visit to our friends in lockdown is what I miss most as a result of this virus. Most likely some of us would have made a special effort to take a birthday cake to her!
I hope this year brings good health to all and the ability to see each other in person, once again. ~Jean Borgeson
