In Greene County district court Nathaniel Clark Aldrich, 33, of Jefferson was sentenced to 10 days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license barred. He was given credit for time served. He must pay up to $600 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $256.20 court costs. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)
Peter Edward Miover, 50, of Boone was sentenced Dec. 7 to one year in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of operating while intoxicated- second offense. All but seven days of the jail time was suspended and he was place on probation to Boone/Greene County Probation for one year. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at his own expense. He may complete a Des Moines Area Community College 48-hour alcohol education program in lieu of two days of the jail sentence. Miover was fined $1,875 with a $281.25 surcharge. Trevor Michael Baugh, 25, of Jefferson was sentenced to 365 days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. All but seven days of the jail sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation Boone/Greene County Probation for one year. He was fined $855 with a $128.25 surcharge; both were suspended. He must pay restitution not to exceed $1,200 for his court appointed attorney’s fees. Cost costs were not available on Iowa Courts Online. Charges against Baugh of domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness, harassment- second degree, and carrying weapons were dismissed. (Sentencing: McCarville)
Matthew John Goff, 47, of Jefferson was sentenced to six months in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of criminal mischief- fourth degree, consecutive to a jail term in another Greene County cases. The jail time was suspended and he was placed on probation to Boone/Greene County probation fo one year. Goff was fined $430 with a $64.50 surcharge. He must pay up to $600 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: McCarville)
Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment as follows: Joyce Ellen Davis, 71, of Jamaica, perjury; Randall Gerald Venteicher, 52, of Scranton, domestic abuse assault- third or subsequent offense; Steven Logan Dzuris, 32, of Jefferson, criminal mischief- third degree, and in a separate case, interference with official acts causing bodily injury. Timothy R. Williams, OWI; and Douglas Wayne Shutt, 59, of Grand Junction, OWI and driving while license barred. Trial dates were set for March 2 in every case.

Jefferson, criminal mischief- fourth degree; Marcia Kay Lowe, 57, of Yale, possession of marijuana- third or subsequent offense and possession of methamphetamine- third or subsequent offense; and Randolph Lee Glass, 54, of Rippey, driving while license revoked.
