I have ordered some new books again. I have received the new Matthew McConaughy book, Greenlights. I think you will enjoy it. I haven’t read it yet, but I plan to.
I also ordered a few Christmas books. About this time of year people like to read them. This year in particular I think we need something to look forward to.
Our president, Cindy Devilbiss, is trying to get the new Facebook page up and running. She is asking what people want their library to be. It has been hard since kids can’t play with games and we can’t have programs to congregate and have food. That is a bummer, but hopefully this will be over soon.

The Rippey United Methodist Church will not hold in-person worship services through November 30. Online service can be watched on the church Facebook site.

Jean Borgeson accompanied Phyllis Bardole to Carroll on Saturday for a visit with Phyllis’ sister, Valerie Ogren. These visits are still being held outside and there were several families taking advantage of what was probably the last decent day to continue this arrangement. The residents are hopeful that there will be a safe corner inside for visiting during the cold months. Jean visited earlier in the week with Phil and Toni Roberts in Perry. It was nice enough to stand outside their window and see them in person, also.
Monica Tenorio, of Amarillo, TX, visited a few days with her mother, Phyllis Gannon, as well as other family members who were in and out. Jean Borgeson dropped by on Sunday evening and to visit with Monica, as well as granddaughters Teresa Hoyle and Katlynn Mechaelsen, who brought little Warren. It’s always entertaining to watch a baby’s progress. He will be crawling soon. How fast time flies for an infant!
