Greene County magistrate court, week ending Oct. 23

In Greene County magistrate court Jason William Sheldahl of Jefferson was sentenced Oct. 23 to seven days in jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of violation of a no contact order. The jail time is consecutive to sentences in three other Greene County cases. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were $35. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)

Austin Tylor OConnell of Jefferson was fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge after he pleaded guilty to a charge of interference with official acts, amended from disorderly conduct. A charge of domestic abuse assault was dismissed. Court costs were $128. (Judgement: Magistrate Jessica Morton)

Jamie Allen Day of Perry was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge on a charge of disorderly conduct. Court costs were $60.

Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Justin Michael Cosnotti of Jefferson has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Tarrin Laurel Thomas of Adel, interference with official acts; and Tara Nicole Sheeder of Woodward, domestic abuse assault.
