In Greene County district court Pablo Luis Correa Flores, 30, of Carroll was sentenced Oct. 12 to 10 days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license barred. Jessica Lea DuPont, 28, of Jefferson pleaded not guilty to charges of assault on person in certain occupation causing bodily injury and assault on person in certain occupation. A trial date was set for Dec. 8.
A case was initiated against Christopher Herbert Lawrence, 40, of Ames. He is charged with assault while displaying dangerous weapon.
