The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Greene County was at 164 as of Thursday morning, Oct. 15, according to Greene County public health director Becky Wolf. That’s an increase of two over the Wednesday count. There have been 21 new cases in the past seven days, and seven cases in the past three days. Eighty-four people have recovered; 52 percent had no pre-existing conditions; and 20 percent had no symptoms. There have been no deaths attributed to Covid-19 in the county.
The average rate of positive cases over the past 14 days is 9.2 percent. Days to double remains at 30.
Breakdown for age groups for positive cases:
- 0-18 years: 14 percent
- 19-39 years: 35 percent
- 40-59 years: 33 percent
- 60-74 years: 16 percent
- 80 and older: 2 percent
