Greene County magistrate court, week ending Oct. 2

In Greene County magistrate court Jay D. Winger of Jefferson was sentenced Sept. 29 to five days in jail on a charge of contempt of court- violation of no contact order. He was also fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge. A second count of contempt of court was dismissed. Court costs were $108.80

A judgment was entered against Jennifer Marie Ashby of Jefferson on a charge of theft- fifth degree. She was fined $105 with. $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were $96.

A judgment was entered against Jon Mitchell Bushman of Scranton on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60.

Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Colin Christian Hungate of Gowrie has been charged with theft- fifth degree. The case was initiated Aug. 6. The warrant was filed Sept. 18 and returned Sept. 29.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Dawn Marie Brown of Perry, theft- fifth degree; Nathaniel Clark Aldrich of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault; Dalton Weber of Scranton, assault; Floyd William Laxson Jr of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault; Alicia Marie Beardsley of Guthrie Center, violation of protective order; and Patrick Scott Beardsley of Guthrie Center, violation of protective order and interference with official acts.
