The Greene County cross country teams competed Sept. 24 on the River Bend golf course at the Roland-Story Norseman Invitational. The boys were fourth out of 12 scoring teams with 127 points. Madrid was the top team with a low 25 points and Ogden finished second with 89.
Roland-Story girls took top honors with a score of 32, followed by Panorama with 78 and Bondurant-Farrar with 84. The Greene County girls had just three runners with Conner Allender placing highest at 34th in a time of 25:16.
Logan Woodruff led the Rams, finishing 10th place in 18:17 and earning a meet medal. Other finishes and times were Jayden Carstensen, 22nd, 19:13; Dakota Mobley, 23rd, 19:18; Ethan Frederick, 26th, 19:24; Ethan Larsen, 46th, 20:26; Luis Velazco, 65th, 21:56; and Jax Carstensen, 66th, 21:57.
