The Greene County Rams will host the Class A Nodaway Valley Wolverines for the homecoming game this Friday evening at Linduska Field.
The Wolverines of Greenfield are 1-3 on the season. They were to have traveled to Ogden to play the Bulldogs and the Rams were to have hosted the Des Moines Christian Lions. The Bulldogs and the Lions are sitting out this week’s games due to Covid-positive players.
Nodaway Valley lost its season opener to Southwest Valley 22-15, but came back to win over West Central Valley 48-0. The Wolverines lost to Mount Ayr 41-13 and then lost a close one last Friday night 21-19 to Madrid.
Kickoff is at 7 pm. The Greene County homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime of the game.
