Greene County High School seniors have selected the 2020 homecoming court. On the court this year are Lily Muir, Makala Kafer, Ashlyn Frederick, Joslyn Monthei, Lizzy Allen, Jaxon Warnke, Blake Kaufman, Zach Goff, Luis Velazco and Sawyer Schiltz.
Voting for the king and queen is done by sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Homecoming will look a little different this year, like most things, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The jersey auction, parade, and afternoon coronation will not take place.
The king and queen will be crowned during halftime of the Friday night football game. As of Monday morning, the Rams don’t have an opponent for the game. Des Moines Christian was scheduled, but the Lions have had to cancel their games for Sept. 11 and Sept. 18 due to Covid-positive players.
