VFW Post 9599 and the VFW auxiliary are hosting a meal Thursday, Aug. 27, at the VFW hall on the east side of the downtown square in Jefferson. Serving will be from 5 to 7:30 pm. The meal will include beef and noodles over mashed potatoes, corn or beans, and dessert.
A free will donation will be accepted.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will no indoor seating for this meal; to-go meals will be served curbside. Persons who want meals delivered can call 515-230-6793.
