Stuffed animal adoption, wellness clinic slated

The Animal Protection and Education Charity will hold a free stuffed animal adoption event with a stuffed animal wellness clinic Saturday, Aug. 22, from 9 am to 1 pm at its location at 801 W Mamie Eisenhower in Boone.  This event will be held outdoors. Social distancing and face masks are encouraged.

This is a free Event.  All stuffed animal adoptions are free, along with a free wellness clinic for your currently owned stuffed animals. Children are encouraged to bring their current stuffed animals for a free wellness exam.   

APE adoptable kittens (live animals) will be on display at this event as well.

The Animal Protection and Education Charity (A.P.E.) is central Iowa’s first non-profit to offer low cost spay and neuter services, and is Iowa’s largest provider of trap-neuter-return.
