The board of the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center reminds all gardeners that the food pantry accepts fresh garden produce Wednesday mornings between 9 and 11 am. The produce will be shared with county residents in need.
The food pantry is located at 1006 N. Vine St in Jefferson.
Persons can also take produce to the United Methodist Church in Jefferson. There is a place for food pantry donations inside the south (Madison St) entrance. A special drop-off can also be arranged by calling 515-391-1025.
