Hometown girl Marsha Snowgren is retiring after five years as an associate in the Greene County School District.
A native of Jefferson, Snowgren spent five years with Greene County School District. She was drawn to the atmosphere of small towns and, more specifically, Jefferson.
Snowgren helped break down assignments for students and was available for assistance or questions if necessary. She was able to help students better understand their schoolwork and even attended classes with her students.
Snowgren is particularly proud of receiving her volunteer badge for the Special Olympics field trips she went on with students. Those experiences stand out the most to her from her time as an associate. She says “it’s always fun to learn along with the students.”
In retirement, Snowgren plans to vacation, spend time with her friends and family, and substitute.
