Persons pleaded not guilty in Greene County district court during the week ending June 3 as follows: Elizabeth Celine Fischels, 32, of Webster City, possession of methamphetamine; Teresa Ann Turner, 40, of Bayard, possession of methamphetamine and operating while intoxicated- first offense; and Christopher David Spaulding, 53, of Jefferson, OWI- second offense. Trial dates were set for Sept. 29 in every case.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Tanisha Rice, 45, of Scranton, assault with intent to inflict serious injury, and in a separate unrelated case, domestic abuse assault while displaying or using weapon; Adam Joseph Harvey, 43, of Grand Junction, theft- fourth degree; David Hoyle, 34, of Churdan, assault while displaying dangerous weapon; and Jason William Sheldahl, 49, of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault- second offense;
Information is available since the return of arrest warrants that the following cases were initiated earlier: Weston James Brammer, 22, of Des Moines, domestic abuse assault impeding blood/air flow; Nyakuot Gatkek Chuol, 19, of Ankeny, manufacture or possess with intent to deliver marijuana and failure to affix tax stamp; and Christopher David Spaulding, 53, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana- third or subsequent offense, possession of methamphetamine- third or subsequent offense, and unlawful possession of prescription drug (three counts).
