The Greene County Cattlemen’s Association has selected five Greene County seniors to receive $1,000 college scholarships.
Through the support of donors, continued growth of the annual Cattlemen’s banquet, and beef promotion the association is able to grow its scholarship program.
Cole Betts will attend Iowa State University and plans to major in ag studies with a minor in agronomy. He is the son of Alan and Tanya Betts.
Izzy Bravard will attend ISU and plans to major in agricultural communications. She is the daughter of Mike and Kathy Bravard.
Paige Heaning will attend ISU. She is the daughter of Maleea and Ben Gannon.
Ellie Madson will attend the University of Iowa and plans to major in public health/pre-medicine. She is the daughter of Todd Madson and Sheila Madson.

Tieryn Tucker will attend Iowa Central Community College and major in agricultural education. She is the daughter of Tim Tucker and Tara and Andy Quirk.
“Every year we look forward to rewarding our youth for their dedication during high school and continued success in the future. Please help us congratulate the 2020 scholarship recipients,” Cattlemen’s board member Brandon Muir said.
