Greene County is experiencing increased COVID-19 activity, with in an increase from one case at the beginning of the week to seven confirmed cases as of Friday morning.
Greene County public health director Becky Wolf said Friday two of those with the illness are adults age 18-40; four are age 40-65; and one is age 65-80.
“As we continue to see a possible surge in Greene County it is important to still be vigilant and aware of your surroundings,” Wolf said. “Continue to social distance, wash your hands and wear a mask in public. If you are able, stay at home, especially if you are over the age of 65 or have chronic medical conditions.”
