In Greene County magistrate court Susan Marie Travis of Dayton was found guilty of trespass at a trial March 11. Magistrate Jessica Morton entered a judgment for a $65 fine with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $98.45.
Ryan Douglas Patterson of Jefferson was sentenced to 30 days in jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of contempt of court, amended from violation of a protective order. The jail time was suspended and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Patterson was fined $35 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $100.22. In a separate case in which he was charged with violation of a no contact order, Patterson was sentenced to 30 days in jail, also suspended. He was again placed on unsupervised probation for one year. He was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60.
Tanisha Rice of Jefferson was sentenced to two days in jail on a charge of violation of a no contact order. She was also fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60 in that case. On a separate case, also on a charge of violation of a no contact order, Rice was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $90 court costs.
Brittennie Elizabeth LeClair of Churdan was sentenced to 14 days in jail, with all but seven days suspended after she pleaded guilty to two counts of violation of a no contact order- aiding and abetting. She was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. She was fined $65; the fine was suspended and the court found her unable to pay sheriff’s fees or court costs. Thirty-one counts of violation of a no contact order- aiding and abetting were dismissed.
A judgment was entered against Joseph Xavier Lay of Boone in a case initiated in district court in which he was charged with driving while license revoked. Magistrate Morton fined him $65. Court costs were $60.
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Damon David Joseph Zimpel of Scranton has been charged with theft- fifth degree (two counts). Information is also available since the return of an arrest warrant that Candice Marie Ortiz of Grand Junction has been charged with criminal mischief- fifth degree.
