Jefferson is a finalist for Technology Community of the Year in the Technology Association of Iowa’s (ITA) 2020 Prometheus Awards presented by LWBJ Financial LLC.
According to an ITA press release, the Prometheus Awards are the most prestigious recognition for Iowa’s technology industry. The Prometheus Awards acknowledge individuals and companies impacting Iowa’s $10 billion-plus technology industry. “This year’s finalists epitomize great talent, solidifying Iowa’s reputation as a technology state,” the press release states.
Other finalists for Technology Community of the Year are Cedar Valley, Story County and West Des Moines.
Winners will be announced at the Prometheus Awards Thursday, April 9, in Des Moines.
Jefferson Matters: Main Street submitted the nomination at the recommendation of Linc Kroeger of Accenture/The Forge. Each community nominated will show a 30-second video at the banquet.
