Rehearsals are under way for a Community Players of Greene County spring production of “Clue the Musical,” slated for April 17, 18 and 19.
The musical is based on the board game “Clue,” with six suspects in a murder committed at a mansion. In the musical, the murderer, murder weapon and location are determined by cards drawn by members of the audience. The ending is unlikely to be the same at any of the three local performances.
The cast includes Joe Cerwinske as Mr Boddy, Alicia Sloan as Mrs Peacock, Jacob Hanson as Professor Plum, Sam McIntosh as Miss Scarlet, Tim Pound as Colonel Mustard, Darren Jackson as Mrs White, Avery Bardole as Mr Green, and Natalie Payan as the detective.
Director is Taylor Dahlberg.
Performances are Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, at 7 pm and Sunday, April 19, at 2 pm in the Greene County High School auditorium.
The musical is written by Peter DePietro with music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martucci and lyrics by Tom Chiodo. It is being performed with permission of Samuel French Inc.
