Absentee voting in the March 3 Jefferson special election begins Wednesday, Feb . 19, in the auditor’s office at the courthouse.
Jefferson voters can vote in person during regular business hours, 8 am to 4:30 pm, and until 5 pm on Monday, March 2. The last day to mail a ballot is Friday, Feb. 21.
Voters will elect one person to fill the remaining two years of the city council term Matt Gordon vacated when he was elected mayor. Sean Sebourn and Patrick Zmolek are on the ballot.
