Greene County Libertarians will hold a caucus Saturday, Feb. 8, at 1 pm in the basement meeting room at the Jefferson public library.
Even those who are currently registered with another party may attend, register as a Libertarian, and caucus for their preferred candidate.
“So many Iowans are disenchanted with the apparent dysfunction of the two legacy parties,” said Libertarian county chair Susan Laehn. “Indeed, more Iowans are now registered as Independents or members of a third party than are registered as either Republicans or Democrats. We want people to know that there is another option; they needn’t accept ‘politics as usual’.”
