Greene County FFA welcomed 24 new members at the annual Jacket Ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 15. For the fourth year in a row, the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association has purchased the famed blue corduroy jackets for the incoming FFA members. The Greene County Cattlemen wish the new FFA members and Mrs. Harris good luck in their future FFA endeavors.
The Greene County Cattlemen’s Association has also opened up their annual scholarship application. This application can be found on the Greene County Cattlemen’s Facebook page or in the guidance counselor’s office at Greene County High School and Paton-Churdan High School. “We hope to see your application and the chance to be selected for a $500 or higher scholarship,” a spokesperson for the Cattlemen said.
