Greene Co Ele to receive donations not specified for other groups
Greene County Elementary and other local charities will benefit from the purchase of Hy-Vee’s reusable bags with Giving Tags attached.
Now through the end of November, customers at the Jefferson Hy-Vee will be able to purchase distinctive giving bags with a special tag attached. Each time a customer purchases a bag, he or she can name a local non-profit organization to receive a $1 donation. That designation must be made within seven days of purchasing the bag.
If a customer doesn’t designate a recipient for the donation, the $1 will automatically go to Greene County Elementary.
