Greene County school enrollment may be stabilizing

Greene County Schools superintendent Tim Christensen shared what he called “the bad and good news” of enrollment with the school board at its regular meeting Oct. 16. Halloween fun coming to Jefferson

Halloween fun starts Thursday, Oct. 24, with the Jefferson park and recreation department’s come-and-go Halloween party from 4 to 5 pm at the Greene County Community Center. There will be games, activities, and treats for all children ages 2 through fifth grade. There is no charge. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
