The Greene County public health department has several flu shot clinics planned at locations around the county in the next several weeks.
Upcoming flu shot clinics are scheduled as follows:• Churdan library – Monday, Oct. 7, 1-3 pm
• Greenewood Center, Jefferson – Tuesday, Oct. 8, 11 am-12:30 pm
• St Brigid Parish Center, Grand Junction – Monday, Oct. 14, 11 am-1 pm
• Rippey library – Monday, Oct. 14, 2-4 pm
• Scranton library – Friday, Oct. 18, 1:30-3:30 pm
• Drive-thru clinic, Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson – Monday, Oct.21, 4-7 pm
• Greene County Elementary School – Tuesday, Oct. 22, 12:30 pm (staff/students)
• Public Health at Greene County Medical Center – Wednesdays, Nov. 6 and 13, 4:30-6:30 pm
Public health staff will also administer flu shots at Greene County and Paton-Churdan parent/teacher conferences.
Walk-ins are also accepted during public health office hours, Monday-Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Persons should bring health insurance information as the shots are billable to most insurance. The cost of the injection is $35.
