Democratic presidential candidates John Delaney and Elizabeth Warren will visit Greene County this week.
John Delaney will discuss the economics of soybeans and cover crops with farmers and interested voters Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 9 to 10 am, at the farm of David and Emily Weaver, 1769 B Ave, east of Rippey.
This will be Delaney’s third visit, with previous campaign stops in Jefferson a year ago and in Churdan in March.
Elizabeth Warren will hold a town hall meeting Thursday, Aug. 8, at RVP~1875 in Jefferson. Doors will open at 1:15 pm and the event will begin at 2:15. The event is free and open to the public.
