Three local beef producers competed in the National Dexter Cattle Show held in Lincoln, NE, on June 29. They brought home numerous honors with plans to compete again at the Iowa State Fair.
Representing the area were Dawn Rudolph of Scranton (Double D); Rick Seydel of Coon Rapids (Timberview) and Terry Sprague of Guthrie Center.
Results include:
• Youth show- Karli Rudolph
• First Junior Heifer Calf – Double D (Massena)
• Third in Costume class as Little Miss Muffet and her calf, Double D (JJ) as the spider
• Champion Heifer Calf – Double D (Massena)
• First Place Cow / Calf – Timberview (Fawn) / Double D (Massena)
• Champion Cow / Calf – Timberview (Fawn) / Double D (Massena)
• Fourth Place Yearling Steer – Double D (JJ)
Adult Show:
