It was a strong comeback performance from Greene County baseball Wednesday night, as they fought back from a 5-0 deficit to win 9-5 against Underwood.
After going 5-0 down, the Rams scored nine straight runs on 11 hits with starting pitcher Austin Delp, Joe Anderson, Brent Riley and Tyler Teeples each recording two hits. Nick Breon, David Richter and Bryce Stalder rounded out the hitting stats, with Stalder driving in three runs in one hit.
Delp got the win on the mound despite allowing five runs in the second inning, going scoreless for the rest of his 5 1/3 inning stint before Richter closed the game out. The Rams are now 9-18 on the season and play North Polk Thursday night.
