A brightly colored quilt constructed of blocks from the 2018 quilt block contest at the Greene County Fair will go to the lucky winner of a raffle, with tickets available through Sunday afternoon.
Suzanne Sievers of the Stitch donated time, talent and materials to make a quilt and a bolster pillow from last year’s blocks. Proceeds of the raffle go to the Greene County 4-H Foundation to benefit the 4-H program. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
The blocks for the 2020 quilt will be displayed in a people’s choice quilt block contest at the fair. Fair-goers can vote with their wallets, with each cent being one vote.
The 2018 quilt block winner was Tori Riley of Jefferson. Her quilt block sudoku is in the top right corner of the quilt (as pictured).
