Collections at a soup supper and ecumenical Lenten service last Sunday netted $1,130 for the new Action Resource Center (food pantry) building. To date, $95,477 has been raised for the building. Another $5,000 is needed to meet the original project budget.
According to Pastor Julie Poulsen, president of the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center board, money raised going forward will go toward building updates, parking lot improvements, and then food and utilities, insurance, snow removal, etc.
Pastor Julie thanked everyone who has supported the new Action Resource Center project.
