The Greene County wrestling team traveled to Perry Tuesday where they were 0-3 in duals. Brock Wuebker posted three wins, two by fall and a decision. The Rams finished the regular season 17-11.
Adair-Casey / Guthrie Center hosted the annual Charger Invitational Saturday with 19 teams in attendance. Winning the team championship was Clarion-Goldfield with 236.5 points, followed by Van Meter / Earlham in second with 212. Greene County tallied 80 points to finish 12th.
Wuebker had the highest finish for the Rams as he placed second in the 170-pound class, posting two pins and a loss by decision in the championship bout.
The Rams travel to Ida Grove Saturday for the sectional tournament. Action begins at noon. First and second place in each weight class will advance to districts in Harlan Feb. 9.
