The Greene County junior class chili supper will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the Elks lodge at 103 W. Harrison St in Jefferson. The Greene County girls and boys basketball teams will host PCM for a Mega Night in the Greene County Middle School gym and the Greene County Community Center.
Serving time for the chili supper is 5 to 7 pm. The meal includes a bowl of chili, crackers, relishes, pie or dessert, and milk or coffee. Tickets are $6 for ages 6 and older; children 5 and younger eat at no charge. Chili and milk refills will be available at a cost.
Tickets can be purchased from any junior, at the door, or by calling the high school at 515-386-2188.
All proceeds from the junior class chili supper will go toward the 2019 “Viva Las Vegas” prom. The banquet and dance will be held at the Wild Rose Event Center on April 6.
