Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation Tuesday allowing the transportation of oversize and overweight loads of grain for 60 days during the harvest season. This proclamation allows vehicles transporting corn, soybeans, hay, straw, silage and stover to be overweight (not exceeding 90,000 pounds gross weight) without a permit, for the duration of the proclamation.

Middle school volleyball scores told
Greene County eighth grade volleyball coach Teresa Green reports her team on Monday defeated Gilbert in the A match 12-21, 21-11-and 1-14. The B team lost in three games 10-21, 21-19, 17-21. The Rams served 73 for 97 for 75 percent with 24 aces. “The Rams were greatly improved from our first match last week,” Green said.
