All Scranton residents are invited to participate in the first Memorial Christmas Light contest. The Varceis Club is sponsoring the event in memory of the late Betty Gregory, who loved the holidays and decorating for the season.
Judges will cruise the Scranton community on Saturday, Dec. 22. They will consider all outdoor lighting displays. There’s no entry fee. Just make sure your holiday lights are shining brightly.
The display selected by the judges as the most festive will win a $25 gift card. ~The Scranton Journal
