Jefferson Elks Lodge 2306 is taking reservations now for the annual Christmas Day dinner, to be served Dec. 25 at 4 pm at the lodge, 103 W. Harrison St.
The dinner is for all those who wish to attend, and particularly those who have no one to have dinner with on Christmas Day. The menu includes turkey and ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, rolls, and pumpkin pie.
The dinner is free and open to the public; all are welcome. Carry outs will be available. Everyone who plans to attend, pick up carry outs or have meals delivered to their home is asked to call the lodge at 515-386-2106 by Dec. 22. If no one available, please leave message, including the number of diners, on the answering machine.
