An open house was held at the H.F. and Maude E. Memorial Marchant Library in Scranton on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 29, to bid farewell to two employees and welcome two others.
Sheryl Hoyt, left, and Keri Johns, center, have resigned. Wendy Johnson, right, is the new library lirector. She will be assisted by Joleen Allen as the program director.
STORY TIME ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 12 — Youngsters and the young-at-heart are invited to the library next Wednesday afternoon at 3 pm. A Christmas story and craft will be shared along with games and cookie decorating. All ages are welcome to join in the fun.
